Welcome to the official command center of the Outer Rim War. This engagement, refered to as the Cadrel Expanse Conflict by the locals, was the center of conflict between New Republic and Imperial factions over the newly discovered and mineral rich Cadrel Expanse, located in the Unknown Regions of the Outer Rim. This strategic sector of space was once the focal point of the fictional conflict that went on between the Rebel Squadrons, Emperor's Hammer, Imperial Order, Star Vipers, Vast Empire, New Republic 5th Fleet, Antagonist Wing, Last Starfighter League, New Republic, and Imperial Naval Fleet. These factions are some of the largest fan-fiction Star Wars online gaming clubs in the world. Thirty-five weeks of intense multiplayer combat that started in October of 2000 finally ended in July of 2001 with the Rebel Squadrons taking control of the majority of systems in the Cadrel Expanse. The Outer Rim War used to take place every Saturday night from 2 PM EST to 11 PM EST in channel #OuterRim on any InnerNET server of mIRC with the Lucas Arts multiplayer games X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance, DFII: Jedi Knight, and the Valve multiplayer game Counter-Strike.
