The Elenian System The Elenian System is one of those few miracles of known space, a system rich in natural beauty, where nature it seems has worked to please the eye. First discovered by the Hyperspace Explorers at the dawn of the Republic the system was a haven in a uncaring region. The ancient ruins can still be found on some planets, long forgotten. Planets: Caelum: Caelum has few equals in known space, Arcadia, Avalon, Alderan are often whispered in company of Caelum. Planets where crystal waters meet snow capped mountains, where shimmering lakes and pure blue skies are the norm. The first Hyperspace Exploreres certainly agreed with todays verdict, ruins of their ancient city can be found on the southern continent, entwined with undergrow as they appear today their majesty has been known to make even the most hard and cold of Dark Jedi stop in awe. Excelsior: Excelsior was named after a clan that produced a long line of heroic Naval Admirals, the initial settlers worked hard to cultivate the planet and turn it into a major trading post on the Outer Rim. However time took its toll, and like many great states it succumbed to that endless flow and withered away. Today the ruins of their accomplishments can be seen in the shape of the old monuments, and the newly uncovered hall of warriors, where the ancient settlers placed their dead heroes. Merlin: Merlin, the planet of pure water sitting over a hard crust of solid rock. In some areas the land nealry breaches the surface forming atol reefs, however these are far and few inbetween. The endless currents create a strong gravimetric field, capable of distorting scanners and slinging ships and asteroids out of the system.
