Fellow Patriots:

We’ve come to the end of yet another month in our service to this historic division of the Rebel Squadrons. We are also partaking in Labor Day weekend, which means three day weekends (or four in my case :D) for all of us. I hope you and your loved ones have a fun-filled weekend; but most of all, please be safe in whatever you do; I want you all back after this weekend is behind us! Most of mine will be spent packing, and drinking.

And now, I am reminded that I have a very important announcement to make. On the 5th of September (yes, that is next week), I will be leaving for my second tour in Iraq. However, I will have Internet and email access to handle fleet issues. Should I not be available, Anton and Seeks will be around to run things in my absence, and I am one hundred percent confident in their command abilities. Rest assured, I will serve this great country, and return to you all in one piece.

Now that I’ve spoken my peace once again, it’s time for this month’s news for the Patriot Starfighter Group!

I’d like to take a moment to thank you all for your participation in the tour that we just saw come to a close; you are all what makes this division historical, and I hope to see a lot more of the same. Also, congratulations to all those who received promotions and medals.

You should all know Major General Max Cal, and it is my pleasure to welcome him back into PSG Command as the new CO for Blue Squadron.

As for retirements, you all know (if you read the end of tour ceremony) that we retired Green Squadron. Recently, I have decided to retire Hydra Squadron as well, thereby having retired all the elements of what was formerly known as Retribution Wing. It’s not a decision that I like making, but these things become necessary. Please check the fleet roster to determine what fleet you have been realigned with, and make contact with your new Squadron CO to be added to the proper distribution list.

UPDATE: I know you have all been long anticipating the upcoming mission. Well, now it's time for action. RS 2.01X has been released! So what are you waiting for? GO FLY!!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, my door is always open.

That’s all for this month’s edition of the Patriot Newsletter. Tune in next month for more exciting news!

PILOTS, TO YOUR SHIPS!

‘’:)
