Hope Wing NL, Sept 9th 2001
On the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm, home of Hope Wing, the protocol droid C6P07 appears on the holoscreens and delivers
his traditionnal speech, "Pilots, may I have your attention please, Captain Vrei'Sik is about to give his bi-weekly debriefing...".
Welcome, members of Hope Wing, to this fourth edition of your favorite wing's newsletter. There are indeed a couple of things that happened in the last two weeks which you should be informed of. Therefore, let's move on to the important stuff.
News from the Patriot Battle Fleet
1. PBF307
The results are indeed final since around mid-august and the final standings for Hope Wing pilots can be found on the web page. Hope Wing finished 3rd in the fleet, which is not very good. At least it seems like the participation was much better in 308.
2. PBF 308
Because of the new scoring system, there is a delay in the posting of the final results for this mission, so they're not out yet. I
should post an addendum to this newsletter as soon as they come out.
News from Hope Wing
1. Recruits
We again had one more recruit in the last two weeks. Let us welcome 2nd lieutenant Jae-Keito Gra in Hope Wing. He has been
assigned Phoenix 3.
2. Outgoing Pilots
General Petr Tagge Margul, after a two month long AWOL, has been removed from his position as Fireclaw 8.
3. Promotions
Argon Viper has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander!
Corran Horn Jr. has been promoted to Major General!
Ninja has ben promoted to 1st lieutenant!
4. Hope Wing medals
The Hope Wing medals for PBF308 will be awarded as soon as the results for that mission are final. Remember to send
your narrative reports to me at vreisik@gmx.net if you wish to be considered for the mission report medal.
5. Hope Wing Command
Last week, Captain Hunter notified me by email that he resigned as Hope Wing CO. Consequently, the PBF command has placed me in the CO spot. I hope to remain in that position for a long time
and to bring, along with you guys, Hope Wing to the highest honors. I have some projects in mind so stay tuned for some action :). My first action as Hope Wing CO was to place previously SO Argon Viper
in the XO position. He's been so far a great partner and will surely be a great XO!
