Obroa-skai --- Forces of the Imperial Remnant have conducted a bold raid on the neutral planet of Obroa-skai. An unknown number of scout ships entered the system and sliced into the archives of the database of the library planet. Obroan defence forces reportedly succeeded in driving the raiding forces off before they could acquire copies of the entire database.

After the withdrawal of the Imperial raiding parties, a nearby New Republic defence force consisting of four Assault Frigates and three wings of X-wings engaged an unknown Star Destroyer that the scout ships returned to. After an engagement of just over an hour, the Imperial Star Destroyer withdrew from the vicinity with an unprecedented and complete rout of the New Republic force that had engaged them.

Though Imperial territory has been shrinking on a galactic scale for the past five years, there are rumours of a new Imperial commander rallying the tattered remains of the Imperial fleet, and these rumours have been supported by this unusual loss by New Republic forces in the battle near Obroa-skai.

The library world of Obroa-skai is located in a strategic position on the borderlands between New Republic and Imperial space, and despite heavy petitioning from the New Republic Senate, the Obroan people have chosen to remain neutral in the conflict. It is yet to be seen if this recent incident will cause the people of Obroa-skai to finally choose a side in the ongoing galactic conflict.
