After the load of silence, there was a vague and static-laden message to the effect of, "Hang on, I'll be there." Hours went by, but eventually, Jay and Carl joined up in the hanger. They exchanged pleasantries then they went in for briefing. It seems like there is a second supply outpost precisely like the one formerly targeted. Jay smirked, "Seems like we're going for extra credit."

The two of them prepped their ships, Carl using an X-Wing and Jay in an A-Wing. No beams were available, but there was a modest supply of heavy rockets. Upon launching, Jay commanded, "Punch power to engines, and hurry up with those rockets." Just before reaching the buoy, Jay added, "And don't forget to dumb-fire them! We want that Golan down ASAP."

Both of them completed the travel through hyperspace, and Jay immediately launched his entire salvo. Carl followed behind only slightly, but when he was done, he declared, "Rockets away!" The TIE Interceptors were concentrated neatly on both Heroes of the Rebel Squadrons. These TIEs were flying as smoothly as usual, perfectly lined up on the duo. Even despite human shakiness, Jay's early firing forced most of the Interceptors to scatter. Almost half a dozen were destroyed on the first pass, but their pass was enough to drain all Jay's shields and partially wreck his hull. A couple of his gauges were busted, but at least he wasn't leaking air or fuel.

On top of that, there was notable interference, particularly in the targeting computer registering the rocket hits from Carl onto the Golan station. Jay could not see any rockets, and his computer already tallied the damage from his own salvo. After dealing with the first wave of Interceptors despite the jerking controls, he finished off the station - and the rest of the fighters within - before any friendlies were turned to dust. Carl certainly helped, staying nearer to the corvettes and cleaning up torpedoes.

Eventually, after saving the B-Wings, all that was left was to deal with the containers. Both Jay and Carl knew of the hidden dangers there, as some containers possessed nasty blasts upon destruction. This final clean-up was uneventful as a result, and there were no floating pilots around to take care of. So, Jay and Carl both went back to base, parking their fighters in the hanger and completing their mission.
