One more Final Return - Captain James StarGazer

It all would begin for Captain James StarGazer one final last time. He had been with everyone for the amount of 5 years before he had given up on improving to get better on Flight Missions. He had been working with Damon so that he could get better! But just about a year ago, James StarGazer had decided it was time he gave up. He really just needed some time off. And some time so that he could relax! And get his head straight. Though, coming into that decision on his own was not an easy one. James wanted so badly to be sucessful like all the other officers! He knew deep down inside that practice sim's. Practice flights with Damon! Over...and OVER again WOULD give him the skills he needed. But at that point in time, James just felt like even with practice. Even with advice being given from one of the gallexey's best! "Damon"

It came really down to how bad James wanted to be suceessful. And at the time, he had wanted it. But something got in the way....and until he could be sucessful. He would have to figure out what was getting in the way! Some time off would maybe do the trick, James thought. And boy was he wrong! SO wrong. He began drinking at the local bar a lot more. Because he missed the flying life after just a month off, not so much the flying. But just the general atmosphere of things! And he also missed Damon. And all the rest of his friends that were always there for him! Thing of it was. He didn't see anybody in his time off. The only friend he thought he had, was an alcoholic beverage from the local bar. At which....he drank a little bit of everything. He wasn't always ever set on drinking just one drink anyways. Even when he drank his normal rate.

It was pretty late one night. And like usual, James was quietly at the corner booth in the local bar where he would always drink a few...which would like always. Turn into him getting drunk there in the bar. (His typical routine). When quickly behind him, he heard a voice coming from the booth behind him. "It gets old after a while....the voice said. Getting drunk over and over, and if you think it helps anything. You would be wrong. Take it from someone who has figured it out the hard way". James quickly turned around curious for who was in the booth behind him. The person turned around, and stated his name. "Captain Remus Nyine"....the man saluted James. "Captain James StarGazer!" James...said as he saluted back. I've been in your position before, the former Captain said. I don't know the full story, but for you to be in this bar drinking every night like this. You are just out for a normal stroll of drinks like a typical Captain would be celebrating.

James quickly nodded. "You would be correct sir!". I have been in here every night this month drinking. It's not like I've had anything else better to do! I'm a screw up of a Pilot. And I can't get anything right, so I'm taking some time off! I don't even know if I'll ever go back honestly...James said. What's the point if I can't fly without screwing up. Even in a practice run...James said.

The former Captain looked at James. Then got a serious mad look on his face. "Let me tell you something kid! I was in the exact position you are....and I have been there. I screwed up so many times, I just quit and gave it all up! I didn't wanna be apart of something if I felt like I couldn't get better! But you know what the reality is? If I had kept trying. I would keep getting better! And I would still be in today. And wouldn't be in this bar every night! Look at it like this. You had to give it all you had to get where you are already. Do you honestly think that's gonna get any better? YOU MUST KEEP WORKING YOUR ASS OFF EVERYDAY! EVERYDAY! if you wanna get better. Don't quit. I quit! And I wish I didn't every single day of my life.

James quickly nodded. Then knew what he had to do! He went back to his room Packed his bags...and planned on leaving the next morning! Back to flying!
